I will be following the Gentoo security mailing list since it sounds interesting to me. I am signed up for the list and have received a few messages but I think it will take some time to get up to speed on what they are talking about. I will also probably sign up for the gentoo-desktop enhancement list or a fedora mailing list. I used to be on the list but it was too hard to keep up with since some days there would be nearly 100 emails.

I am planning on continuing my work from last semester on the PortageGUI project and the z/VM GUI project. I need to talk to Jason and Kevin to see whether they want to meet to organize things a little better. I also need to see what they want to work on since Jason isn't taking COSI for credit this semester.

This week I am going to be reviewing the past code for the z/VM GUI project so that I can beginning coding the GUI for formatting DASD.
